Since our September 2010 capital campaign
kick off, the Friends of Grant Athletics
(FGA) have come a long way. Your support and generous contributions will
transform the Grant Bowl into a state of the art athletic field and
track and field
facility. The help of nearly 1,000 community donors and very generous
contributions by NIKE, Fields for Sport Fund, Autzen Foundation, City of
Portland,
Portland Parks Sports Users Group, United Finance Co., Legacy Health,
Juan Young Trust, Portland Timbers and several anonymous donors have
pushed
our campaign over $1 million toward the $1.750 million dollar overall
goal. FGA is
pleased to have the support of Portland Parks & Recreation Commissioner
Nick Fish to convene community partners to support this project and to
bring
this long awaited project to fruition.
